**Block Learning at the University of Suffolk
Rather than learning multiple modules at the same time during one semester, block learning means you learn content for one module at a time, then complete your assessment before moving on to the next module. Learning is condensed into shorter blocks, for example, block/module one could be 5 weeks duration containing 4 weeks of taught content and then your assessment comes in week 5, then that’s your module complete and you move on to module 2 in block 2. Therefore, learning is completed in small, concentrated blocks, in series, enabling early feedback on performance.
