Overview

The FdSc in Forensic Sciences intends to provide a solid knowledge-base to foster and enhance enthusiasm for Forensic Science and to develop transferable scientific skills. Through the practical application of knowledge you will acquire the knowledge, skills and attributes required by employers in forensic laboratories and scientific support services.  You will study a range of modules- some designed to develop your wider scientific and laboratory knowledge and skills – and some to develop the specific skills and attributes needed to work in forensic science.

The FdSc provides a programme for students wishing to build their skills, knowledge and understanding further to progress into the laboratory science sector. Students will study a range of laboratory linked modules and will complete their studies by completing a sector relevant project.
