Overview
Design and Construction Managers in the construction industry lead, manage, and coordinate the design and construction process for building and infrastructure projects.
They act as a link between designers, construction teams, and stakeholders, overseeing design consultants and translating design concepts into final structures. Their role involves managing design information, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and facilitating efficient construction processes. They also focus on sustainability, risk management, and project completion, ensuring minimal environmental impact and adherence to project specifications. They assist in contract administration and gather feedback to implement best practices in future projects.
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will be awarded a BSc Construction Engineering Management (Degree Apprenticeship).
