Research and Knowledge Exchange Office
The Research and Knowledge Exchange Office is the University’s dedicated support team for all aspects of research and knowledge exchange (RKE) funding and activity.
We offer a comprehensive range of services to staff members involved in research and knowledge exchange spanning the entire RKE process - from project development and identifying funding sources to negotiating funding contracts and securing funding.
Additionally, we provide advice and guidance on managing RKE projects, ethical considerations, and compliance with RKE policies. We also oversee strategic planning for RKE at the institutional level, manage submissions for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF), ensure compliance with relevant Concordats, and support the Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Knowledge Exchange with institutional formula-based funding from Research England.
