The James Paget University Hospital HEART Nursing Scholarship Programme

The HEART (Helping Educate and Advance Remarkable Talent) Nursing Scholarship Programme supports local people who want to become nurses. Your tuition fees are fully funded by the James Paget University Hospital and all of your clinical placements take place there too.

Students must:

  • have applied and secured a place on the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing course starting September 2026. 
  • be a UK citizen and a Home (UK) fee payer, residing in Norfolk or Suffolk. 

  • be able to complete placements within the James Paget University Hospital Foundation Trust for the duration of your course. 

  • commit to working at JPUH as a Registered Nurse for at least two years after receiving your NMC PIN. 

  • commit to repaying part or all of the scholarship if you withdraw from the university course or leave the employment before the two-year period ends.
