University of Suffolk Job Board

The Careers, Employability and Enterprise Team is here to help employers with your recruitment by connecting you with students and graduates who are looking for work. Once our new platform is live (end of August 2026), you will be able to create an account and upload your vacancies for free. In the meantime, you will need to email any details to connect@uos.ac.uk for us to share via our internal comms. 

We are pleased to be able to offer this service to all employers completely free of charge. We want to ensure that our students and graduates have access to as many opportunities as possible from across Ipswich, Suffolk, the UK and around the world, and that there is no cost barriers to organisations who may have limited recruitment budgets. 

Our free to advertise, online job board:

  • Helps employers recruit graduates to graduate level full-time or part-time, permanent or fixed term employment.
  • Connects students with employers recruiting for internships, work placements, summer placements, part-time roles, and casual/temporary employment.
  • Enables charities and voluntary organisations to advertise paid and voluntary roles.
  • Promotes opportunities offered by University of Suffolk internal departments to our students and graduates.  (All University of Suffolk departments are encouraged to advertise vacancies suitable for students with the service).

We are currently awaiting the launch of a brand new jobs platform which should go live during August 2026 - if you would like to sign up, please email connect@uos.ac.uk and we will send you a link as soon as it's available. In the meantime:

  • If you have a current vacancy you would like us to promote, please send a link to the vacancy or a pdf with the job details / how to apply / and any skills criteria you require and we'll share this via our internal comms with students. 

Please note, we are switching to a new Jobs Platform and are no longer working with Handshake. Details of the new platform will be posted here as soon as we are live. 

In the meantime, we will post details of any opportunities shared directly with us on our Brightspace Hub.

  • Whilst we await our new Platform, please raise a Minerva ticket to request an appointment, please specify if you would like Teams or In Person and give 3 potential times/dates for us to arrange a suitable appointment.
