Careers, Employability and Enterprise Events

We believe that our students have the potential to do great things, the best way to find out if they are right for your organisation, is to meet them.

We are pleased to invite you to attend our next student Careers event;

 My Future Festival, being held from Monday 1 November through to Wednesday 10th November.

We’ll be running a variety of events across these 8 days to give our students lots of different opportunities to meet organisations like yours, explore routes into your sector and the roles available to them, and inspire their future career plans.

There’s lots of ways you could get involved:

  • Run an interactive session to provide insights into your organisation, and inspire our students to consider your organisation as an employer of choice;

  • Run an interactive session focusing on a particular topic, skill or area – perhaps you could help our students develop their team working skills or resilience, or could provide CV, LinkedIn and/or interview insights and tips?

  • Offer 1:1 bookable slots for students to speak directly to you and your team about your organisation, opportunities, and how they can stand out from the crowd.

  • Have a face to face presence on campus in our Waterfront Building Foyer (subject to Covid restrictions) to speak directly to students and the University community.

  • Record an insight into your organisation, roles and/or sector that can be uploaded to our virtual My Future Festival space for students to access during and after the event.

To book your slot, please tell us which days and times would be best for you, and what you’d like to get involved with here, by Friday, 24th September.

If you’d like to discuss the possibilities further to decide what is right for you, please email, and we’ll be very happy to explore this with you.

We will confirm your individual day and time slot by Monday, 4th October, and will share joining instructions before your event.
