The Whole Story Approach to Understanding and Investigating Sexual Offending

This event will showcase the work of the Institute for Social Justice and Crime's (ISJC) Visiting Senior Fellow in Criminal Justice, Dr Patrick Tidmarsh. Patrick is an international expert in investigating sexual offending and, with ISJC Director Prof. Miranda Horvath, was involved in the flagship Home Office-funded project Operation Soteria Bluestone, which aimed to improve police responses to rape and serious sexual offences.

The lecture is free and open to the general public. It raises awareness regarding evidence-based responses to sexual offending, and common myths and misconceptions regarding perpetration.
