The East of England Faiths Agency CIC working with The Faith and Spirituality Network (Suffolk) and the University of Suffolk is celebrating the publication of its new game, ‘Staging Posts on the Journey of Life’.

The game uses prose and poetry, ancient and modern, to observe our passage through 12 aspects of our life. It facilitates discussion about personal and public issues and it can be used in every type of group, schools, clubs, staff training, social groups and more. It has proved particularly valuable in care homes where it brings residents together and stimulates memories.

23 May is Wesak Day, when Buddhists commemorates the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Gautama Buddha, celebrating his message of compassion and devotion to the service of humanity.

Dayasara, a member of the Ipswich Buddhist Centre who is also a Shakespearian student, will speak on ‘The Buddha, Shakespeare and me’.
