Safe Suffolk Renters would like to invite you to join us for a free event in Ipswich on 6th March dedicated to a key topic raised by both tenants and landlords in rented properties.

Damp and mould is a topical issue and we are keen to raise awareness of both the problems and solutions available.

Registration opens at 9.00am. In the morning conference from 9.30am, we will have health professionals and other experts on hand who will talk in more detail about the types of damp in properties and diagnostic tools to help determine the state of the property.

There will be advice on achieving a good moisture balance in a property and the financial support available. The conference will be packed with practical solutions to help landlords and letting agents support and advise tenants.

The morning session finishes at 12.30pm when we break for lunch. Then from 1.30pm, the University of Suffolk and Suffolk Climate Change Partnership are organising a conference on innovative retrofit solutions that are available to increase energy efficiency.

The Damp and Mould Conference takes place at The Hold, Fore Street, Ipswich on 6th March with refreshments and a networking buffet lunch available.

In addition to this event, the following day (Thursday, 7th March) you are invited to visit the Octopus Energy Innovation Centre in Slough to explore all things energy and innovation. Numbers are limited, so you are encouraged to book your space early.
