Sharon joined the University in the Spring of 2016 as DBS Administrator working alongside the Allocations Team. In October 2017 she became Senior Allocations Administrator working to place the nursing/paramedic science/midwifery and ODP students. In October 2018 Sharon moved within the greater course administration team and is currently Course Administrator for the Post Graduate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and v300 Non-Medical Prescribing courses.
Prior to joining the University Sharon has had a varied working life which has included working for 7 years as a paediatric medical secretary at the Ipswich Hospital.
Outside of work during 2017, Sharon was a Trustee and Secretary of a local charity, which aims to assist children with special needs/terminal illness by providing specialist equipment not provided via the NHS. She enjoys organising and hosting murder mystery parties with her husband, cooking and sharing meals with her friends and circular walks often including geocaching, Sharon passed the first part of a motorbike licence in 2015 and enjoyed riding; however she has let the licence lapse currently and therefore simply enjoys exploring the local countryside riding pillion on her husband’s motorbike.
