Richard Cooper is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Lecturer in Counselling at the University of Suffolk. He also has a small private practice as a Supervisor and Counsellor, working with both long and short term clients with a wide range of mental health issues.

Richard is currently a lecturer on the BA in Counselling and MSc in CBT and Counselling at the University of Suffolk. Prior to this role he was a Lecturer on the BA in Person Centred Counselling at Colchester Institute, Essex.  He has also been involved in teaching on Introductory Counselling programmes in various settings across East Anglia.

Richard has been involved in establishing placements for trainee counsellors and building relationships with many of the service providers in Ipswich and the surrounding area.
