Leanne is a Senior Lecturer in Health Apprenticeships and Course Lead for the Nursing Associate programme. Leanne qualified as a Registered Adult Nurse in 2010, and before joining the University of Suffolk in 2018, worked in a number of acute NHS Trusts across the region within a variety of specialities. Leanne’s academic achievements include a Diploma in Adult Nursing, a BA (Hons) in Health and Social Care, a PgC in Academic Practice and a MA in Education Studies. Leanne has a keen interest in widening participation and apprenticeships within Higher Education.   

Leanne has taught across different health apprenticeships, including Nursing Associate, Adult and Mental Health.  Within the Nursing Associate programme, Leanne has module lead responsibilities for Practice Learning One and contributes to other modules, including Foundations of Acute and Long-term Conditions, Supporting the Safe Management of Medicines and Human Anatomy and Physiology.
