Georgie Andrews
Executive Assistant to Provost and Chief Operating and Transformation Officer
- School/Directorate
- Vice-Chancellor's Office
Georgie joined the Vice-Chancellor’s Office in 2018 as Professional Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), who held overall responsibility for the University’s professional services. In this role, Georgie provided high-level administrative and operational support, gaining a broad understanding of the University’s governance, structures and professional services landscape.
Since then, Georgie has progressed to the role of Executive Assistant to the Provost and Chief Operating and Transformation Officer (COTO). She is now the principal point of contact for the Provost and COTO, providing comprehensive executive support including complex diary management, coordination of senior-level activity, and support across both professional and academic services directorates. Her role involves close working with senior leaders across the institution to support clear communication, effective prioritisation and the delivery of strategic objectives, whilst also being an integral member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.
Prior to joining the University, Georgie held Professional Assistant roles within the education sector at Suffolk New College and Northgate High School, where she developed a strong foundation in educational administration. Earlier in her career, and before starting a family, she spent ten years living and working in London as a Personal Assistant within the Legal and Financial services sectors, supporting senior executives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
