Freya Gillott

Freya joined the Student Recruitment team in May 2023 as a Student Recruitment Officer. Her role involves building relationships with schools and colleges in East Suffolk and Norfolk, as well as representing the University of Suffolk at fairs and events across the UK. Freya also runs workshops and talks to help students learn more about Higher Education.

Freya graduated from the University of Essex in 2011 with a first class degree in Psychology. She then completed her PGCE through the University of Suffolk, and spent almost ten years working as a primary school teacher before being moving into EdTech, where she was the account manager for over 250 schools. Freya also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Special Educational Needs.
