Dinah previously worked in corporate travel, followed by many years in primary education. After gaining a BA (Hons) Education from ARU, she worked there as an Admissions Officer for six years before joining the University of Suffolk in January 2019. Her Admissions Officer role includes overseeing all Apprenticeship Admissions, from initial application through to enrolment. This involves liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure a smooth admissions process for our apprenticeship applicants.
The Admissions team have been working remotely since March 2020 (apart from a period of socially-distanced on campus work for Clearing over the summer months!) and have adapted very well, aided by Cloud telephony which allows them to continue to be contactable by phone so applicants can have queries quickly answered. Dinah is delighted that the Admissions processes for Apprentices have not been adversely affected at all by these challenging times. Dinah is currently also studying on the UOS MA Creative and Critical Writing so has understanding of UOS applications and processes from a student perspective.
