Alison Jones

Alison graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Social Science and Tourism, Leisure & Recreation Studies in 1998.

Alison joined the University of Suffolk as Project Administrator to the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) Team in October 2017 and, after several reiterations of that role due to changes in the team structure, now works for the Business Engagement Team as their Administrator within the Business Engagement, Careers & Employability Directorate. Prior to this, Alison has held roles at Buckingham Palace, the Ministry of Defence and, more recently, the V&A Museum of Childhood (rebranded as the Young V&A), where she worked as their Office Manager for over 15 years.

In her current role, Alison provides administrative support to the Business Engagement Team and can often be found lending a helping hand at various events hosted by UoS. Alison is a Mental Health First Aider and, in her spare time, regularly practices yoga and enjoys exploring the Suffolk countryside.
