We offer a 1-year course leading to recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE (60 Master level credits). The programme offers a real balance between hands on classroom experiences and the theory underpinning educational practice.

Entry requirements

Academic Requirements

Entry requirements are:

  • A minimum 2:2 honours degree from a UK university or recognised equivalent 
  • All applicants are required to hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. Applicants who do not hold these qualifications may be considered on an individual basis based upon their overall application and the course applied for. IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components) where English is not the students' first language.
