Su is Co-production Lead in Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Partnership, supporting partners across the Integrated Care System to practice inclusive involvement of people with lived experience and communities. Su supports strategic commissioning within the Integrated Care Board, ensuring that people's voices and involvement can shape services throughout the commissioning cycle, from strategy development, service design, delivery and evaluation.

Su's PhD (undertaken with the Integrated Care Academy, University of Suffolk) explored co-production within integrated care, utilising an advisory group of service users, family carers and members of the workforce throughout. They published a systematic review using meta-ethnography which drew out a novel cyclic co-delivery framework for application within integrated care (Conquer et al., 2024). Su then explored three case studies of co-production practice, using participatory action research and deliberative workshop methods for a multi-case study.

The PhD discussed the importance of a system-wide learning community of practice and provided five working recommendations for Integrated Care Systems to build the required supportive environment. It supports the theoretical alignment between co-production practice and integrated care through community-powered practice and integrated community care (Conquer, 2025).
