Ipswich Graduation

The University of Suffolk will be celebrating the achievements of our students at the annual graduation ceremonies on the Ipswich Waterfront from Saturday 17 to Wednesday 21 October 2026 inclusive. Details of the date and time of the ceremonies for each school and/or partner and which courses will attend each ceremony are shown in the October 2026 Graduation Schedule.  

All activities for the graduation ceremonies will take place on the Ipswich Waterfront.

  • Registration, gowning and official photography will take place in the University's Waterfront Building.
  • The ceremony itself will take place in the Grand Marquee, along the waterfront near the James Hehir Building.

Checklist

Please note: The graduation ceremonies in Ipswich are for students who studied at the University of Suffolk in Ipswich, along with students from Hanbridge Institute, London School of Commerce (UK campuses), LD Training, all SCITT providers, Suffolk New College, Unicaf and Unitas.

The graduation ceremony for students who studied at East Coast College will be held on Friday 16 October 2026 at Great Yarmouth Minster.

The graduation celebration event for students who studied at London School of Commerce in Malta will be held in Malta on 23 October 2026, and the graduation celebration event for students who studied at British School of Commerce in Colombo will take place in 2027 in Sri Lanka (details tbc).

The annual graduation celebration days for students who studied at Global Banking School will be held on July 2026. Students with awards conferred in Winter and Spring 2026 will be invited to attend the July 2026 events. Those whose awards will be conferred in Autumn 2026 will be invited to attend the annual graduation celebration days in 2027.

The event for students at Hanbridge Institute who wish to celebrate their graduation in Singapore will be held on 16 October 2026.
