Suffolk Haunts competition guidelines

  1. The Promoter is the English Department, University of Suffolk, Waterfront Building, 19 Neptune Quay, Ipswich, IP4 1QJ.

  2. The rules of the competition may be altered at any time.

  3. The prize is one printed copy of the anthology, Suffolk Haunts (2024), and one printed copy of Extreme Hauntings: Britain's Most Terrifying Ghosts (2013).

  4. The competition is open to all account holders on the X social media platform.

  5. Only entrants that like, repost, and follow the @UOSEnglish X account will be considered.

  6. Entries must be submitted by midnight on Friday 22 November 2024. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
  7. One winner will be selected at random and announced on the X platform via the @UOSEnglish account on Monday 25 November 2024. The winner will be invited to DM their address for postage of the prize.
  8. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any network, computer, or software failures of any kind and has no responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

  9. Abusive, offensive, inappropriate or discriminatory entries will not be counted.

  10. By entering this competition, the winner gives permission for @UOSEnglish to tag their X account in any social media competition announcements. The winner must also confirm they have received their prize by sharing this news on the X platform and tagging @UOSEnglish.
