Rachel has worked closely with the cultural heritage sector in the East of England for organisations including The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the Norfolk and Norwich Festival and Colchester and Ipswich Museums. Her areas of expertise include fundraising, project management, museum learning, interpretation, and accreditation.

Rachel has a Masters in Heritage Education and Interpretation from the University of Newcastle and is currently studying for a PhD in Cultural Policy with the University of Warwick. Suffolk born and bred, Rachel is passionate about the county's heritage and loves nothing more than spending time by the coast with friends and family.

Alongside her part-time role managing the Suffolk Centre for Culture and Heritage, Rachel is a research student funded by the AHRC Midlands4Cities programme. Her multi-disciplinary study is examining cultural value and heritage-led regeneration in relation to seaside towns through a case-study of the Great Yarmouth Winter Gardens.
