Nigel has spent his entire career in estates and facilities. He began in the retail sector, where the company he was working for decided to open concessions within its department stores and asked him to lead the initiative. This opportunity gave him a valuable insight into the property world—an experience that marked the beginning of his journey in the field, and he has never looked back.
His career spans both the private and public sectors, with a particular focus on the latter. He spent several years working for the British Transport Police and, more recently, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, a role that took him overseas. Based in Singapore for 10 years, Nigel managed global teams responsible for maintaining overseas embassies, high commissions, and diplomatic residences across Asia, Russia, India, and Europe.
While with the British Transport Police, he oversaw logistics operations, including during the tragic events of the London bombings in 2005. For his work during that time, he was awarded a Police commendation and had the honour of meeting the Queen—an experience he counts among his proudest moments.
