Her practice later expanded into the independent education sector, where she worked as a school nurse providing care for children and young people aged 3 to 18 years. In this role, she provided care for children and young people aged 3 to 18 years and contributed to the safeguarding team, supporting the health and wellbeing of students.
Most recently, Georgia worked within the Suffolk Child Death Review Team, contributing to multidisciplinary processes that support learning, service improvement and aims to learn from child deaths. Georgia has developed strong interests in child and family‑centered care, safeguarding, health promotion, and evidence‑based nursing practice.
Georgia teaches across the BSc Children's Nursing Programme.
