Becky studied Nutrition & Human Health at the University of Suffolk and graduated in 2011. Whilst studying for her degree, she volunteered on various public health initiatives and started a role within the NHS shortly after graduating.
She then moved into social care and worked as a Young Person's Advisor for Suffolk's Leaving Care Team. More recently she has worked for a healthy lifestyle service and was part of the Adult Weight Management Team delivering community-based support.
Becky began her role as a Higher Education Champion with the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (neaco) project in April 2020. She works with several schools across Suffolk, delivering a programme of activities to support students and their families to make well-informed decisions about their future options.
