Care Leavers Bursary

Students at University of Suffolk who are living in, or having previously lived in, local authority care, could be eligible for a Care Leavers Bursary.

Successful applicants will receive a £500 bursary each academic year, up to a maximum of 3 years, provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria and make successful academic progress.

The bursary will be automatically reassessed each year, and in the event of a "not eligible" outcome, the award will cease. If a student is intercalating, no payment will be made during this period, but their application will be reassessed upon their return to study.
