Accepted Qualifications
We accept a range of qualifications here at the University of Suffolk. Please see below for more details of our accepted qualifications, including English Language requirements. If you have any questions, please contact our Admissions Team.
For entry onto an undergraduate degree, applicants are required to have one of the following qualifications:
- HSC/Standard XII from West Bengal Board with 50%, Standard XII from ISCE/CBSE/ISC with 60%, Standard XII from other boards with 65%
- State Board of Technical Education qualification or other allied health subject at 60%
- International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 28 points overall
- A-Levels (see course pages)
For entry onto a postgraduate course, applicants are required to have:
- Minimum 3-year bachelor's degree with 50% from Tier 1 universities and 55% from all others.
If English is not your first language, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability as part of your application.
The most commonly known assessments for this that we accept are;
- IELTS (Academic/UKVI)
- Cambridge English
- Pearson (Academic)
- TOFEL (iBT)
The University of Suffolk accepts a number of Standard XII qualifications as proof of English proficiency. Please see below for the required scores.
