Become a Student Content Creator

Do you like making social media content? Come and do it for the University of Suffolk and get paid!

We are looking for some Student Content Creators to generate content for our University social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok and Facebook). Our potential students really value genuine and relatable content and you are the best people to create that! We will pay you for five hours a month, or more if you want to get involved further.

Content creation enhances your valuable skills like communication, video editing and marketing, that can boost your CV and open doors in a variety of careers. Plus, it’s a creative outlet where you can express yourself and connect with like-minded people. Why not start turning your ideas into content?

How to apply

Want to know how to get involved? Complete this Application Form and at the end of the form please submit a 30-45 second video for that positively showcases one (or more) the following aspects of life at the University of Suffolk:

  • Student life and social opportunities, including society events and meet-ups
  • Academic experience, covering lectures, seminars, course modules, specialist facilities, and field trips
  • Food, cafés, nightlife, and affordable student activities in and around Ipswich
  • Key aspects of campus life, such as student accommodation, library resources, study spaces, wellbeing support, and the on-site gym
  • Career development and employability support, including placements, internships, and networking opportunities
  • Student support services, including academic guidance, mental health support, and disability services

The video should be fully edited and ready to view. We don’t want corporate videos, the video should be realistic and relatable to by potential students.

Successful applicants will be offered five hours per month as a Student Content Creator. Full terms and conditions will be given to successful applicants.
