What you need to study with us. 

Here you will find lots of useful information for students from Nigeria including entry and English language requirements, scholarships and funding information, and where you can meet our representatives in-country.

For entry onto an undergraduate course, applicants are required to have one of the following qualifications:

  • International Foundation Programme
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma with 28 points
  • A-Levels (see course page for requirements)

For entry onto a postgraduate course, applicants are required to have:

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognised university at 50% or a 2:2

If English is not your first language, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability as part of your application. 

The most commonly known assessments for this that we accept are; 

  • IELTS (Academic/UKVI) 
  • Cambridge English 
  • Pearson (Academic) 
  • TOFEL (iBT)

Ufuoma Egbegbedia - Research Associate

Ufuoma has worked as a research associate within many of the University’s institutes and is currently working with the Institute of Sustainability on her PhD - Learn, Unlearn and Relearn into a Sustainable Future: Sustainability Consciousness in Nigeria. As part of her PhD, she is researching the environmental policies and laws in Nigeria, identifying the loopholes, and finding ways to bridge the sustainability gap within Nigeria. Earlier this year, Ufuoma became a member of Catalyst2030 – a global movement of social change innovators committed to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
