The University of Suffolk is based on the beautiful waterfront in Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk, within close proximity to London, a number of international airports and Harwich Ferry Terminal - perfectly located to welcome you from across the UK and the globe.
If you are visiting the University of Suffolk, please park in Duke Street car park (pay and display) or one of the local public car parks. Visitors and members of the public are not permitted to park in the university car parks, parking in a University car park at any time without a valid permit will result in a fine being issued.

There is disabled parking in our car parks for staff and students, and also directly behind the Waterfront Building on Coprolite Street.
Duke Street car park also contains disabled parking bays for visitors to the university.
The University's car parks are for current students and staff only. Permits are required and checked on a daily basis. Parking in a University car park at any time without a valid permit will result in a fine being issued. Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras are also in operation.
During the weekends staff and students can park at the University car park, at no cost, as long as an active parking permit is displayed.
All car parks are operated by IPSERV who will ensure that only registered users access the University’s car park.
