Welcome Week

Welcome Week, 22-26 September 2025

Get ready to kick off your university journey with a week full of energy, connection, and discovery!

Welcome Week is your first taste of life at the University of Suffolk, and we’ve packed it with everything you need to feel at home and get started with confidence.

Throughout the week, friendly staff will be at registration desks across campus to greet you, answer your questions, and help you get registered. Just don’t forget to bring your ID! Your course induction session can be found on this page here.

Your course timetable will begin after Welcome Week, giving you time to settle in and explore the campus. Keep an eye on your inbox, we’ll send you all the details you need before classes begin.

From day one, you’ll also have the chance to dive into a variety of events hosted by your Students’ Union.

The Students’ Union has lined up an incredible mix of activities for your first few weeks, from social nights and live music to chill hangouts and craft nights. Whether you're into gaming, football, volunteering, or just meeting new people, there’s something for everyone. Check out the SU Welcome Week events schedule here. And follow them on their socials so you don’t miss a thing.

We are so excited to meet you and welcome you to our community!
