Sheila, an experienced registered social worker, has dedicated the last 24 years to supporting and developing professionals in safeguarding children and families across diverse communities. With over 37 years of expertise under her belt, Sheila is an authority in her field of safeguarding and has made a significant impact in creating safer environments by ensuring those who work with the most vulnerable can identity their needs but also understand risk.

Sheila was part of a European Consortium with France, Spain, Italy, Romania supporting the learning of professionals working for the first time with Black people. Sheila contributed to a number of conferences within Europe.
