Sam joined the University in October 2012, having previously worked in Facilities Management at Haven Power, E.ON/Powergen/TXU/Eastern Electricity. Sam has worked in Facilities Management looking after multiple sites/locations for the past 20+ years, prior to which she worked in both HR and Finance.

Sam's current role is that of Estates Contract Manager and leads the contracts for both the hard and soft facilities management services from a strategic and operational level, including reactive and planned maintenance of buildings, which includes; Cleaning, Security, Maintenance of the Campus, Postal and Porterage Services, Grounds Maintenance and Car Park Management, ensuring all regulatory and statutory requirements are also covered.
