Claire Bickers

Claire joined the University in 2022.

Claire is Senior Business Partner – People & Operations responsible for a range of strategic, operational and project activities which support positive People outcomes across the University.

Claire strategically works with senior managers to support complex People matters including casework, organisational change, workforce planning, employment compliance and general HR advice. Claire also supports wider institutional projects and leads components of the People & OD transformation agenda. Additionally, Claire supports development and delivery of training alongside our OD Lead.

Claire oversees elements of the Operations team and is a point of escalation within the Business Partnering and Operations team.

Claire is MCIPD qualified with many years’ experience as an HR professional in a variety of different sectors.
