Health and Wellbeing Building
The £15m state-of-the-art Health and Wellbeing Building opened in 2022 and is situated on the north side of the campus, a few minutes’ walk from the main Waterfront Building.
The facilities in this building provide students access to an array of cutting-edge clinical simulation amenities and modern equipment including:
- Simulated adult and children’s hospital wards and a midwifery birthing unit
- Radiography imaging suite
- Virtual radiotherapy and imaging hub software
- Ambulance and simulated streetscape paramedic learning environments
- Specialist science laboratories for elite sports analysis and practical physiotherapy
- A new Pharmacy clinical skills suite with a mock dispensary is currently in development and due to open later in 2026
- Teaching rooms, seminar rooms and staff offices
The building is also home to the Institute of Health and Wellbeing Research and the clinical unit where our strategic partners, Suffolk MIND and Allied Health Professionals Suffolk, provide their services to the community.
