Hannah was a student at the University of Suffolk for both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. At undergraduate Hannah studied English BA (Hons) and achieved a first class, and at postgraduate Hannah was one of the first to complete the MA Creative and Critical Writing for which she was awarded a merit.
Once finishing her studies Hannah sought out working at the University because it was a friendly and familiar workplace. Within her role as Study Support Assistant and note-taker Hannah has completed training for SPELL autism and researching neurodiversity in her own time.
Hannah is passionate about equality and equitable learning and hopes to improve the lives of the students she supports. In particular, Hannah is interested in queer theory and disability studies as well as intersectional feminism. She feels that through both her study and professional practice she is able to apply these theories in a real world scenario and have a positive impact on the people with whom she interacts.
Additionally, Hannah has a short story published in the 'Suffolk Folk' anthology and is working on a longer form creative piece in her spare time which she hopes to be published.
