What you need to study with us. 

Here you will find lots of useful information for students from Qatar including entry and English language requirements, scholarships and funding information, and where you can meet our representatives in-country.

For direct entry to undergraduate degree programmes, applicants are required to have one of the following qualifications:

  • Shahadat Al-Thanawaya Al-Aama (General Secondary Education Certificate) or a Qatar Senior School Certificate plus an acceptable international foundation year
  • International Foundation Programme (from a recognised institution)
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme: 28 points
  • A-levels (refer to course pages)

For entry onto a postgraduate course, applicants are required to have:

  •  Bachelors degree with a GPA of 2.2 out of 4.0 or 2.8 out of 5.0 from a recognised university

If English is not your first language, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability as part of your application. 

The most commonly known assessments for this that we accept are; 

  • IELTS (Academic/UKVI) 
  • Cambridge English 
  • Pearson (Academic) 
  • TOFEL (iBT)
