To attend uni or not to attend uni? That is the question! And it might feel like a daunting decision right now but here are some benefits of attending Suffolk that I have found over my three years of studying which might just persuade you…

  • Personal and Academic Growth

Looking back I don’t recognise the person I was when I started my course and trust me that’s a good thing! Studying at Suffolk has challenged me in ways I hadn’t dreamed of before and allowed me to develop not only myself but also my writing and critical thinking skills. It has encouraged me to explore my subject from different angles and allowed my passion for my course to evolve; so much so I am continuing my studies at post graduate level!

  • Friends for life

When choosing your course you inevitably end up studying alongside like-minded individuals and as a part of a smaller cohort I can confidently say I have made some lifelong friends from my course. We have supported one another with projects inside and outside of uni and with a strong team by your side anything is possible.

  • New Experiences

Everyone talks about attending university for the ‘going out’ experience but there is so much more than that on offer also. The Students' Union is amazing at organising trips and opportunities for students and there are also lots of societies who are always hosting events to get involved with!

  • Passionate staff and support

Perhaps the most pivotal component to my time at Suffolk have been my amazing course team who are not only so enthusiastic for their subject but are also so passionate in helping us students thrive and reach our full potential. With many courses at Suffolk having smaller cohorts the staff are able to personally work alongside you to push you to achieve the best you can which makes the university experience all the more personal, which is a true benefit of studying at Suffolk.

Have I been able to persuade you yet? Check our website for more information on clearing and to find out other students' experiences and how Suffolk helped them thrive.
