Tim commenced his accountancy training in private practice and later joined the NHS as a management accountant. Tim spent three years as Bursar at the Norfolk College of Nursing and Midwifery until the transfer of nurse training to higher education led to an opportunity to join the University of East Anglia in 1995 to lead their management accounting team.
Tim spent thirteen years at UEA, becoming Deputy Director of Finance in 2003. In January 2009 Tim joined the University of Suffolk as Director of Finance and Secretary to the Board, and was subsequently appointed Deputy Provost (Resources) and then Registrar and Secretary, overseeing the University's Professional Services.
A Chartered Management Accountant since 1997, Tim has also been awarded a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the University of Leicester.
