Tim Greenacre

Tim is the Chief Operating Officer and Secretary to the University Board.

Tim started his career in private accountancy practice and later joined the NHS as a management accountant. Tim spent three years as Bursar at the Norfolk College of Nursing and Midwifery until he joined the University of East Anglia in 1995 to lead their management accounting team. Tim spent thirteen years at UEA, becoming Deputy Director of Finance in 2003, before moving to the University of Suffolk as Finance Director in 2009 and subsequently taking on responsibility for all of the University’s professional services.

A Chartered Management Accountant since 1997, Tim has also been awarded a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the University of Leicester.
