Stuart joined the University as Director of Finance and Planning in December 2018. He participates in the corporate management and governance of the University and manages the company’s financial and planning operation.
He qualified from Bath University in 2003 with a Masters in Maths and qualified as an accountant through CIMA in 2016.
Stuart became Director of Finance at Chilford Hundred Education Trust (CHET) in 2007, based in Linton in Cambridgeshire for 11 ½ years. CHET is a Multi Academy Trust with one secondary school which converted from a foundation school to an academy in 2011, then over time four other primary schools joined the Trust. Stuart’s role at CHET was more than just Finance and covered Estate, Legal, HR and Corporate Governance.
