Ming Cheng is an architect, town planner, urban designer with over 20 years of professional experience practicing as an architect and urbanist, and the Director at Urban Architecture. He first studied Planning at The Bartlett, University College London and a Masters in Urban Design at the University of Westminster. Having worked in the construction industry for several years, he retained to be an architect at London Metropolitan University. He worked on a diverse range of projects both in the UK and overseas, from a one-off housing project, regeneration of the dockyards in Cardiff to a 20 years university campus masterplan in New Zealand. Ming is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architect (RIBA) and Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). He remains in contact with his universities to carry out research and academic teaching. He is a visiting lecturer/dissertation tutor at The Bartlett School of Planning, University College London and a design tutor at The London School of Architecture. Ming is studio tutor for Design Synthesis 3 in the BA (Hons) Architecture.
