I chose to study Web and Mobile Development after completing an A-Level in ICT. Designing and developing websites has been a hobby for me for many years, and the last two years has shown me valuable skills which are challenging to learn by self-learning.

One of the best things about the course is the skills I have learnt and the friends I have made on the way. I prefer web development more than building mobile applications, but that's just a personal opinion.

The support is incredible; after speaking to students from different universities, it doesn't even compare. The ability to contact any of my lecturers with problems I have for them to get back to me within a couple of hours is unbelievable. Even though I prefer to use my laptop for work that I complete at university, I know that the facilities are there if I need them.

I am hoping to become a full-stack web developer after university; I have spoken to local companies who are looking for graduates to work and train alongside their current web developers.

I live in Aldeburgh and went to school and sixth form in Leiston; I prefer to stay local and live at home which Suffolk had the facilities to allow me to do so.

If you have an interest in Web and Mobile Development, go for it, there are plenty of job opportunities out there!
