Appointed as a Visiting Fellow in Suffolk Business School, Dr Stephanie Jones is Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.  She holds a PhD from University College London and a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics. Dr Jones has authored nearly 30 full-length internationally-published books on business and management – three of them with Professor Jonathan Gosling of the University of Exeter (their 2012 book Key Concepts in Leadership was nominated as one of the top ten books on leadership that year).  She has written and co-written hundreds of academic and practitioner articles, especially with colleagues and doctoral students. She teaches MBA students across the world, especially courses on leadership, teamwork, culture and change, and other aspects of Organizational Behavior. She has also taught courses in quality management, consulting, and human resources.  Her teaching locations include Kuwait, Egypt, Yemen, China, Vietnam, Peru, Colombia, Surinam, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and several African countries. She has also taught extensively on MSM’s DBA program.  

With a background in corporate communications, journalism, and with experience in managing businesses in recruitment, consulting, and training in Hong Kong, China, India, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, Dr Jones gained extensive experience in the corporate sector before returning to academe in the early 2000s.  Teaching at first in Dubai and then Kuwait, she joined MSM in 2007 in a teaching and research role, working in both Maastricht and for MSM partners worldwide.  She now also actively supervises student theses, at Doctoral and Masters’ level, assessing and evaluating theses around the world.  She has successfully supervised eight MSM doctoral students to completion.  

Dr Jones is a Discipline Head of Leadership and OB at MSM and a member of the Examination Board.
