Simon Bransden joined the Quality Team in 2019. As a mature student, he gained a BSc in Politics and International Relations at Canterbury Christ Church University, before studying for a PhD in the same subject – graduating in 2017. His research interests are in the functioning of political systems that are based on federal principles – including the EU. Before starting his academic career, Simon spent over 20 years in business, in the fresh produce import and distribution sector. Prior to this, Simon lived France, working in the tourist sector, and retains not only his love of France, but also fluency in French.
