Dr. Ertan Ersoy has a BA degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Ankara University, Political Science Faculty, and an MA and a PhD degree in Economics from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics.

He is a lecturer specialising in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Economics and Economic Policy.  He taught Macroeconomics and Economic Policy at Istanbul University from 2005 to 2013 and currently supervises MA dissertations.  

Ertan's research interests are International Economics, Trade and Growth. He has published articles on economic and financial crisis theories in orthodox and heterodox theoretical frameworks.  He conducted research at SOAS, Department of Development Studies, between 2013 and 2014. He is currently working on post-Keynesian growth models.
