Dr Andrew Revitt is Educational Developer for the University of Suffolk, within the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. His work is focused on supporting course teams in the development and enhancement of their academic provision, including advising on the development and implementation of learning, teaching and assessment practices. This is accomplished through his support of course teams preparing for validation and re-approval processes, monitoring and assurance activities including oversight of the external examiner system, and the management of the University's Risk-Based Monitoring and Enhancement (RiME) processes. He is also involved in formal and informal staff development activities and initiatives, and takes responsibility for a variety of other academic and administrative oversight roles, many in support of the work of the Head of Quality Enhancement.

Following completion of his PhD in Computing Science at the University of East Anglia, Andrew took up a lecturing post at Suffolk College. Over the following years Andrew was involved in curriculum delivery at all levels of undergraduate education, taking particular responsibility for leading the suite of Honours degree Computing courses. He also completed a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education.

When the higher education provision at Suffolk College transferred to University Campus Suffolk in 2007, Andrew also transferred to continue to lead the Computing courses. Andrew was appointed to the role of Educational Developer in 2009.
