I am so incredibly proud to have graduated from the University of Suffolk. My experience is one I will never forget and will always be grateful for.
I have always been intrigued by human behaviour and had a particular interest in mental health, which is why I chose to study Psychology and Youth Studies. The tutors were supportive, passionate and worked hard to motivate each student to achieve their potential.
The facilities are brilliant too. The buildings are modern, spacious and more importantly, they are highly accessible to students. The University also has a strong support network; the student services team are fantastic and can help with anything from managing your workload, to building confidence, or helping you to explore career paths.
I have not only gained a degree with the University of Suffolk, I have grown in confidence and the self-belief to follow my ambitions. I am currently working for a charity that tackles isolation and loneliness amongst vulnerable groups in our society including those with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Issues and Older people. My degree has given me the foundation to make a difference to people’s lives and the confidence to make change happen.
