Claire is a lecturer in Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and leads the Clinical Skills Practice and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy modules on the MSc Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling programme, as well as contributing to teaching on the foundation and BA (Hons) Counselling courses. 

Currently working in private practice as a Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Claire has experience of working within a number of therapeutic settings, including the NHS at primary and tertiary levels. Claire came to counselling from a background in managing helplines and other services within the charity sector. 

Claire holds an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Greenwich, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from the Institute of Psychiatry at Kings College London. 

Claire is an accredited Member of British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
