Charlotte completed a degree in Law at University of the South Bank, London and lectured in Law there.
As a qualified Barrister, Charlotte practised in London and East Anglia before retiring from the profession. Charlotte particularly enjoyed Planning Law, but specialised in Family Law towards the end of her career at the Bar, due to the demand for a female barrister to cover this area of work.
Charlotte has also held various part-time posts in business, as a director, including being a board member of a medium-sized housing association, chairing their Finance and Audit Committee.
Charlotte currently lectures in Family Law, Professional Development for Legal Practice, Client Care and Practice, and English Legal Systems on the Law Degree.
Charlotte also teaches Business Law on the Business Management degree.
Charlotte lectures in Construction Law on the Construction Management Degree. Charlotte teaches the Law of Professional Practice on the Construction Management Foundation Degree.
