Catherine joined the University of Suffolk in September 2019 as an Adult Nurse Lecturer. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings in the UK and abroad. These include A&E, Intensive Care, Sexual Health and HIV, and as an expedition medic in Tanzania and India with Raleigh International.
Catherine completed a Diploma in Tropical Nursing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Masters in Global Public Health and Policy at Queen Mary University of London.
Catherine is particularly interested in teaching around the issues of health inequalities, global public health, and the history of colonialism and healthcare.
